Judge to dismiss lawsuit against utility citing state action immunity

A federal judge in South Carolina has verbally decided that an aluminium producer's lawsuit alleging the state's electric and water utility maintained an illegal monopoly on electricity supply is blocked by the state action immunity doctrine.
