Insurers raise concerns about Jefferson’s post-merger leverage over rates

Representatives of two health insurance companies testified on Monday before a federal Pennsylvania judge that Jefferson Health’s acquisition of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network would give the combined entity more leverage to increase reimbursement rates.
