The US antitrust scene may be losing one of the top economic witnesses on the market. Bloomberg reported on Friday that the European Commission is set to hire Fiona Scott Morton as its chief competition economist. The enforcer declined to comment on whether it had nabbed the Yale University professor and Charles River Associates consultant.
