If at first you don’t succeed, merge, merge again. The Obama Administration thwarted insurance mergers involving Cigna and Humana but it seems the companies want to pick another fight with the Department of Justice. The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that the insurers are in talks to combine, in what would be the largest merger of the year, with both companies already trying to sell off competing assets.
