Apple has beaten claims it unlawfully monopolised the US market for heart rate monitoring apps. AliveCor did not convince a federal judge that Apple had sabotaged its release of an electrocardiogram wristband. But the fight is not over: AliveCor promised it would appeal against the ruling and continue litigating a separate patent infringement case that could prohibit the importation of certain Apple Watches.
