FTC, CFPB, CGSH: The Tipline for 4 March 2020
GCR USA was at the Supreme Court yesterday, looking for any sign that the top court may issue a ruling with consequences for one of your favourite administrative agencies, the Federal Trade Commission. But there was no criticism of the agency from the bench of the highest US court, as Justice Brett Kavanaugh warned that a relaxation of protections against presidential removal for leaders of administrative agencies could weaken the independence of the FTC.
