On this last day of July, we have a full slate of news from the antitrust agencies, Congress and litigation. But though it's not exactly about competition law, the legal document that got the most attention from us on Friday was a ruling by the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit that orders the Federal Aviation Administration to have another think about mandating a minimum size of and distance between airliner seats. "This is the Case of the Incredible Shrinking Airline Seat," Judge Patricia Millett's opinion begins.
