Finding a fact-finder: The Tipline for 14 December 2021

For years, the Federal Trade Commission’s office of administrative law judges has featured only a single fact-finder. That could change in the new year as the commission is looking for a new ALJ to run its administrative proceedings. The job posting gives no indication as to whether the next ALJ will be working alongside Judge D Michael Chappell, but it does say the agency might hire multiple.
