Every which way: The Tipline for 16 October 2018

We’re dividing ourselves between two events involving the Federal Trade Commission today. We’re focusing on the first day of the agency’s trial against dental supply providers for allegedly engaging in an anticompetitive group boycott, and the second day of the FTC’s third hearing in a series evaluating the state of competition and consumer protection. Oh, and the Department of Justice’s star witness in the prosecution of three currency traders will face cross-examination by defence counsel today.
