Don’t leave me out: The Tipline for 22 February 2018

For the second time in recent months, the Department of Justice is seeking some oral argument time at the Supreme Court. After successfully convincing the court to hear it out in the American Express case, it now wants to argue about the collateral order doctrine in SolarCity v Salt River.
