DOJ takes less targeted look than FTC at labour concerns in deals
Leaders of the Federal Trade Commission have emphasised that labour markets are now consciously included in merger review, but current and former officials at the Department of Justice’s antitrust division have indicated that the DOJ waits for such issues to arise.
