DOJ supports plaintiffs alleging university financial aid cartel
The Department of Justice has sided with student plaintiffs in a class action alleging that a group of elite universities conspired to reduce the amount of financial aid they provide, arguing that the agreement “eliminates an important dimension of price competition among schools”.
