DoJ sues hospital over anti-steering contracts
The Department of Justice’s antitrust division and North Carolina attorney general Roy Cooper jointly sued Carolinas HealthCare Systems yesterday, alleging it had used its market power to prevent insurers from steering beneficiaries to cheaper alternatives in the Charlotte healthcare market.
