The Department of Justice’s online search trial against Google has seen both parties list thousands of exhibits to potentially be admitted into evidence. That makes for a lot of online docket entries and paper. But with Google’s outside counsel dedicating a line of questioning to a pair of golf shorts he purchased from an Instagram ad, Judge Amit Mehta said fabric could be a medium for evidence as well. “Would you like to enter the shorts into the record?” he quipped.
