Congress is not gonna do it: The Tipline for 4 December 2018
We had been expecting a busy week on the Hill, but Congress is moving hearings to another week as former president George HW Bush lies in state at the Capitol. Those postponements include the House of Representatives’ oversight hearing of the antitrust agencies, which was originally set for today. The Senate’s hearing on how the US and EU approach abuse of dominance had been scheduled for tomorrow, which is now a National Day of Mourning and a day off work for federal employees.
