Collaborative spirit: The Tipline for 25 March 2020
The federal antitrust agencies came together yesterday, promising to advise businesses on the legality of potential coronavirus-related collaborations within seven calendar days of receiving sufficient information to evaluate the proposal. That announcement comes only a few days after the agencies themselves worked together outside of the coronavirus context to discourage California from adopting new regulations for beer distribution. Competition observers said yesterday’s statement shows the agencies are adapting their work to fit the demands of the public health crisis.
