The Department of Justice called five witnesses to the stand in its trial of foreign exchange traders in New York yesterday, as counsel to the defendants asked the judge to declare a mistrial. The DOJ also secured a guilty plea from Starkist in the Northern District of California, after the tuna packager admitted to fixing prices.
