Talk about a productive morning. A jury in Kansas City sat for deliberations a little after 9am and walked out of the courthouse with an antitrust record $1.8 billion verdict before even breaking for lunch. A trio of Missouri-based firms linked up with Notre Dame Law professor Roger Alford and Berkeley Research Group to take down the National Association of Realtors. The trade association promises to appeal as it stares down a larger class action set for trial in Chicago and possible involvement from the Department of Justice.
