Bipartisanship in the air: The Tipline for 15 February 2018
There was an air of bipartisanship on the Hill yesterday as the Senate commerce, science and transportation committee heard Valentine’s Day remarks from one Democrat and three Republican nominees for the Federal Trade Commission. The hearing – which included cordial agreement on tackling high drug prices – prompted Senator Roger Wicker to praise the bipartisan approach by the nominees and express hope that the FTC continues to not issue many decisions on a 3-2 partisan split.
