Benchmark manipulation claim against Tyson Foods reiterates prior suit
Sysco and US Foods have claimed that a slew of chicken producers colluded to fix the price of chickens partly by manipulating the commodity's benchmark price - despite a federal judge dismissing follow-on securities litigation and the Securities and Exchange Commission closing an investigation of Tyson Foods without any enforcement action.
