Assa Abloy: proposed divestiture will beat DOJ challenge

Hardware manufacturer Assa Abloy is selling its Yale and Emtek Lock brands in an attempt to topple the Department of Justice’s bid to block its $4.3 billion purchase of Spectrum Brands’ Hardware and Home Improvement business.
