Want to see the world? Become an antitrust lawyer. While by no means the most efficient way to get around, antitrust conferences provide a terrific excuse to collect passport stamps. Take the last five years of the International Competition Network’s annual conference: Cartagena, Tel Aviv, Porto, Singapore and Sydney. But for the first time, the entire ICN conference is virtual this year as the US antitrust agencies host 140 competition agencies spanning 129 jurisdictions. At least it spares the need to squeeze into tiny overpriced airline seats.
