The Department of Justice’s antitrust division is actively litigating against Apple, but the two have developed a not-so-loving familial bond over discovery in US v Google. “We see them more than our families,” DOJ attorney Kenneth Dintzer said during a status hearing on Thursday. And it appears the government and iPhone-maker are as aligned on discovery as you and your uncle are on political issues. “Mr Dintzer and I seem to be living in alternate universes,” said Steven Sunshine, counsel to Apple at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom.
