After a bit of a drought in US antitrust enforcement news, the Department of Justice yesterday opened a new front in its auto parts cartel investigation, and a district court ruled in favour of the Federal Trade Commission regarding the enforcer’s challenge to the Advocate/NorthShore hospital network transaction.
