Advertising nauseam: The Tipline for 20 November 2023
Fresh off a 42-day trial related to search engine advertising, the US government is back in court today trying a case focused on digital ads. Federal Trade Commission staff are in pursuit of an order barring IQVIA/Propel Media, which the government claims is necessary to protect competition for ads targeting healthcare professionals. That should be strong prep work for the upcoming digital advertising trials against Google in Virginia and Texas.
