US lawmakers introduce bill with negative presumption for sensitive land purchases

A bipartisan group of lawmakers has introduced legislation that would give the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States jurisdiction over all land purchases by entities linked to adversaries and establish a presumption that certain deals would harm national security.
