UK moves against Chinese and Russian-backed deals on national security grounds

The UK government has ordered an investment company linked to three Russian billionaires to unwind its already-completed acquisition of a domestic broadband provider, while it also blocked a Chinese semiconductor company’s acquisition of a local rival.
