Lawmakers call for CFIUS to assume jurisdiction over greenfield investments

Two Republican senators have proposed new legislation that would give the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States jurisdiction over Chinese greenfield initiatives after the body decided recently not to review a pair of highly-controversial land purchases.
