The country’s apex court will weigh in on whether Uber’s algorithm – and that of Indian rival Ola – illegally fixes the price of rides for its countless drivers. Similar challenges have been raised elsewhere in the world, where complainants have insisted that drivers could compete on price were it not for the algorithms of the companies.
