Comcast formally bids for Sky

Comcast today formally offered £22 billion (€25.1 billion) for Sky, outbidding 21st Century Fox and causing Sky’s board to withdraw its recommendation of the Fox deal – mere days before the UK’s antitrust agency is due to decide whether to block Fox’s takeover of Sky on public interest grounds.
