Kristina Nordlander is a partner at Sidley Austin in Brussels, having joined the competition practice in 2005 as one of its founding members. Originally from Sweden, she began her career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York before relocating to Brussels. In 2008, Nordlander set up the Women’s Competition Network (WCN), an organisation of 1,700 senior women working in antitrust around the world. The group holds regular networking events and attracts high-profile speakers, from Competition Commissioner Joaquín Almunia to Cherie Booth QC.
