Mission and strategy of the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) The ACM's core objective is to promote opportunities and options for consumers and business: opportunities for new products, services, innovation and businesses; options for consumers, who are aware of their rights, in order to enable them to make real and thoughtful choices based on proper information, provided by companies who are unambiguous about the products they offer. These conditions provide the basis for well-functioning markets.
