Yesterday a snowstorm hit Washington, DC, delaying the Department of Justice’s trial to block the AT&T/Time Warner merger for a day. We are back in the courtroom today, listening eagerly to opening arguments as the two sides face off in what Judge Richard Leon expects to be a six to eight week trial. And in another challenge to Antitrust Division boss Makan Delrahim, Terrell McSweeny has issued a statement overtly opposing his views on patent holdup.
