Mr Schwartz is a partner in the competition and antitrust department and the litigation department. He specialises in competition and antitrust practices, litigation and commercial disputes.
Mr Schwartz represents clients in civil lawsuits and arbitration, including class actions, damages claims and proceedings before the Competition Tribunal and the Supreme Court.
Mr Schwartz also provides legal advice with respect to competition and antitrust matters relating to merger control, restrictive trade practices cartels, dominance and monopoly, joint ventures, distribution agreements, and the creation and implementation of internal compliance programmes. He also advises clients with respect to administrative and criminal investigations.
Mr Schwartz also has substantial experience with regards to the Israeli Concentration Law, the Food Law, and other competition-related legislation and regulation.
Mr Schwartz appears in: the 2022 edition of Globes’ ‘40 Under 40’; the 2020 edition of Global Competition Review’s ‘40 Under 40’; and in the 2017 to 2021 editions of Who’s Who Legal Competition: Future Leaders. He is also ranked as a Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500 and as Leading Individual by Chambers.
Mr Schwartz is recognized as a Future Leader by Who’s Who Legal, and was praised by Chambers for his ‘experience in merger control matters before the ICA’, and for being ‘regularly featured on major competition litigation cases, including class actions’.
Mr Schwartz received his LLM degree from Columbia University School of Law, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During his studies, Mr Schwartz served as a research assistant and was a member of the editorial board of the Columbia Business Law Review.
