Ziqing is one of a handful of Chinese lawyers who have been doing full-time antitrust work for over a decade, including more than 150 merger filing projects and dozens of high-profile antitrust investigations. Ziqing used to intern at MOFCOM and was fortunate enough to be the only Chinese licensed lawyer who had a chance to intern at the US Federal Trade Commission. Ziqing accompanied SAMR for their “China-EU Competition Week” programme and the “Summer School” programme organised by the EU Commission. Ziqing is admitted to practise law in China and New York, and had worked as a visiting associate at Latham & Watkins LLP’s antitrust practice group in DC.

In addition to her antitrust practice, Ziqing also assists multinational companies in connection with national security review, data protection and compliance matters in China by providing advice regarding SAMR, NDRC, CAC, MIIT and MPS’s enforcement focuses, inter-agency cooperation and internal review processes. Ziqing was invited by CAC as the only private lawyer to provide law-making consultation on the Chinese-version COPPA, and was invited by MIIT to give training to Chinese telecommunication operators. Ziqing also actively assists Chinese companies with their overseas investments and business operations by providing advice on antitrust and data protection laws of other major jurisdictions.
