Yevgen Khodakovskyy

Yevgen Khodakovskyy is an associate in the Brussels office of Herbert Smith Freehills, dealing with various areas of EU law, with a particular focus on EU competition law, including antitrust and merger control. His experience includes working on complex international mergers, antitrust and cartel investigations, and distribution agreements. Yevgen has particular experience in the pharmaceuticals, chemicals, manufacturing, energy and TMT sectors.

Yevgen graduated from the University of Ghent with a master’s degree in law. He also obtained LLM degrees from King’s College London and Columbia Law School. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, he worked as an associate in a different global law firm in Brussels and completed a traineeship at the European Commission. Yevgen is a member of the Brussels Bar and the New York State Bar.
