Vincent Martenet

Vincent Martenet joined the Swiss Competition Commission in 2005. He was vice chairman of the Commission from January 2008 until June 2010, and has been chairman since July 2010. He holds a law degree from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), as well as a diploma of advanced studies and a doctorate degree from the University of Geneva (Switzerland). In addition, he was granted a master degree (LLM) by Yale University (United States) in 2000. After having practised law more than five years, he was appointed ordinary (tenured) Professor of Law at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), where he teaches Swiss and comparative constitutional law as well as competition law.
