Verónica Sattler

Verónica Sattler's work consists of providing advice to companies pertaining to the energy, public transportation infrastructure and sanitation sectors, on regulatory and legal aspects.This advice includes the negotiation of concession agreements to be entered into with the Peruvian government, the legal design of private initiatives for the development of infrastructure, the negotiation of project finance agreements with financial entities, advice to licensees with regard to regulatory agencies and licensors, the preparation of draft legislation for regulated sectors, the defence of regulated companies in administrative proceedings filed with regulatory agencies and advice in mergers and takeovers of companies in regulated sectors, among others.With regard to free competition regulation, Verónica Sattler has broad experience in the defence of companies within the framework of the proceedings filed with the Peruvian competition agency (INDECOPI), as well as general consulting on this matter.Between February and November 2001 she served as Director of Petróleos del Perú SA (PETROPERU SA).Between July and December 2002 she was professor of the Project Finance course in the law school at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.During 2005 and 2006 she was a professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú on the administrative management course for the masters degree programme on company law, including utilities regulations.
