Mr Fogel is a senior economist in FISCHER’s competition and antitrust practice. He specialises in competition and antitrust economics, mergers and restrictive arrangements.
As the first-ever in-house economist in an Israeli competition and antitrust practice, Mr Fogel provides our clients unique, professional and thorough economic advice with respect to competition matters relating to merger control, dominance and market power, joint ventures and distribution agreements.
Prior to joining our firm, Mr Fogel served as an economist at the Israel Competition Authority (markets department) for almost four years, analysing numerous deals and arrangements in various fields (energy, finance, utilities and infrastructure, environment and more), and promoting pro-competition regulations through advocacy.
Between 2016 and 2018, Mr Fogel was an economist at a boutique economics consulting firm. Before doing so, Mr Fogel worked as a research assistant in the Hebrew University’s economics department.
During his service in the ICA and his economics studies, Mr Fogel was awarded several prizes for his outstanding achievements and professional excellence.
