Tanisha James
Tanisha James is a senior associate in Cooley LLP’s antitrust and competition practice group and is resident in the New York office. Ms James represents corporate clients in connection with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, as well as antitrust counseling and other non-merger matters. She represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice and foreign competition enforcement agencies. Ms James has experience counselling clients in matters involving mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, civil and criminal investigations, and restraint of trade. Her clients span a broad range of industries, including an array of high-tech industries such as health care and pharmaceuticals, computer and data storage, book and magazine publishing, e-learning and education, as well as fashion, sports, automotives and sectors involving natural resources.Ms James has been recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ in antitrust by Super Lawyers and was named to the Lawyers of Color inaugural Hot List. Ms James is a member of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section and is currently serving as a vice chair of the unilateral conduct committee.
