Shiran Shabtai

Advocate Shiran Shabtai is an Associate at Epstein, Chomsky, Osnat & Co & Gilat Knoller & Co and part of the firm’s competition team. Shiran deals with both civil and criminal antitrust cases and her practice includes, inter alia, representation in hearings before the Israeli Antitrust Authority, on-going advising to clients and drafting merger notifications as well as legal opinions in all aspects of competition and antitrust law. Shiran received her Law degree from Bar-Ilan University (LLB, magna cum laude) in 2009 and was admitted to the Israel Bar in 2010.Shiran completed her mandatory legal training at the Israel Antitrust Authority (2009-2010), where she worked on a variety of legal matters including restrictive arrangements, mergers and criminal investigations. Shiran is a member of the Antitrust Committee of the Israel Bar and has published several articles on antitrust and competition law.Shiran co-authored, inter alia, the chapter on Israel in the Private Competition Enforcement Review (Law Business Research, 2010), and in the Merger Control – Jurisdictional Comparisons (Van Beal & Bellis, European Lawyer Reference Series, 2011).Her principal practice is antitrust law and commercial law.
