Sharon Henrick

Sharon Henrick heads the King & Wood Mallesons Australian competition law and regulatory group. She advises clients on large-scale commercial transactions and investigations that have a competition law application in Australia or the Asia-Pacific region. She has experience before a range of Australasian competition agencies and advises clients across various sectors, including manufacturing, media, resources, aviation, pharmaceutical, health and financial services.Sharon has recently returned from a secondment to the market-leading King & Wood Mallesons competition practice in China. This, teamed with razor-sharp domestic and wider international experience, means Sharon is a leading expert on international competition law issues in Australia. Her technical excellence in this field resulted in an invitation to advise the Business Council of Australia on several substantive changes to Australian competition law.Sharon is ranked as an elite practitioner by Global Competition Review, and is listed as a leader in directories such as The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, IFLR, PLC Which Lawyer? and Chambers. She recently won Euromoney’s Women in Business Law Award for Competition – Australia, as well as Lawyer Monthly’s Competition/Antitrust Lawyer of the Year – Australia.
