Robin Cantor

Robin is a managing director and economist at BRG specialising in applied economics, product liability, damages analysis, class actions and complex litigation, and is the co-lead for class action litigation at the firm. Other positions she has held include principal and managing director of the Environmental and Insurance Claims practice at a global consultancy; programme director for Decision, Risk, and Management Sciences, a research programme of the National Science Foundation; and senior research appointments at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

She received a PhD in economics from Duke University and a BS in mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is a past president of the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment, and a past president of the Society for Risk Analysis. She is a member of the American Economic Association, Women in Technology and the American Bar Association.
