Robert Eriksson is a managing associate in Stevens & Bolton’s competition and regulatory team and advises on EU and UK competition law, as well as national security matters. He is ranked as a ‘Future Leader 2022’ in the area of UK competition law by Who’s Who Legal. He has previously worked as a senior case officer at the Swedish Competition Authority and as a secondee to the Financial Conduct Authority’s Competition Division. Prior to joining Stevens & Bolton, Robert worked in competition law practices at various City of London law firms and in Brussels, after having completed a stage at the European Commission (EC).
His sector focus covers life sciences, financial services, retail and oil and gas, and his broad expertise covers all key areas of competition law, including merger control, antitrust and market investigations, as well as attending dawn raids in private practice and for authorities. He also regularly advises pharmaceutical clients on supply/IP licence agreements, patent litigation settlements and compliance programmes.
Robert’s experience in cartel cases includes advising pharmaceutical suppliers on Competition and Markets Authority cartel investigations; a broker firm in relation to the EC’s LIBOR cartel investigation; and a trade association in relation to an EC antitrust investigation, including negotiating final commitments.
