Rameet Sangha is a senior vice president at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
Rameet has over 20 years of experience advising clients on mergers, market investigations, abuse of dominance, vertical agreements, competition litigation and damages assessment. Rameet has experience across a range of industries, with particular expertise in life sciences and financial services. Rameet’s cases (including prior to joining Compass Lexecon) include advising: Aon during the EC investigation of Aon/Willis Towers Watson; Bauer Media on several UK radio acquisitions; a party to a UK Competition and Markets Authority investigation into pharmaceutical pricing; a pharmaceutical firm on pricing and discounting practices; a pharmaceutical firm on reverse patent dispute settlements in paroxetine; and on pharmaceutical mergers including GSK/Novartis, Novartis/Alcon and Pfizer/Pharmacia.
Before joining Compass Lexecon in January 2020, Rameet held senior positions at leading economics consultancies. Rameet holds an MSc in economics from the London School of Economics, an MA in economics from the University of Cambridge and a postgraduate diploma in EU competition law from King’s College London. She has also completed the London Business School Corporate Finance Evening Programme. She is co-author of the ‘Substantial Lessening of Competition’ chapter in UK Merger Control: Law and Practice (3rd edition, Sweet & Maxwell, 2016).
