Philipp Maunz is a case handler at the FCA. After studying law at the Universities of Graz (Austria) and Poitièrs (France) and his legal practice at different courts in Austria he joined the FCA in October 2014. Since autumn 2015, alongside being a case handler he has also been responsible for public relations and acts as a spokesperson for the authority. As a case handler he deals with investigations of alleged competition infringements and merger control. According to the FCA's allocation of duties he is responsible for energy, environment, waste management industry and chemicals as well as health, pharmacy, insurance and financial services.
