Pedro C E Vicentini

Pedro C E Vicentini is an associate at Mattos Muriel Kestener Advogados. His practice is focused on representing corporate clients before Brazilian antitrust authorities in administrative investigations of alleged anti-competitive practices and in national and multi-jurisdictional merger control filings. He provides counsel and training to clients regarding compliance with antitrust law. His litigation background gives him a great advantage in representing clients in antitrust private enforcement cases before courts, as well as in judicial claims seeking annulment of CADE’s decisions. Pedro obtained his law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2006); he has a graduate specialisation in economic law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – GVLaw (2008); and he recently obtained his LLM degree from Columbia Law School, where he graduated with honours as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar (2012). After his LLM, Pedro was admitted to the Full-Time Summer Internship Programme at the Federal Trade Commission, Office of International Affairs (2012). Before going back to Brazil, he worked as visiting attorney at Dentons LLP, New York Office (2012–2013). Pedro has authored several publications in the field of antitrust law.
