Paul Reynolds

Paul is a partner based in CEG's London office and has over 17 years' experience in the economic analysis of markets. Paul has advised major corporations in relation to investigations by competition and regulatory authorities, as well as in court proceedings and international arbitrations. Paul has advised on a number of the world's largest mergers, including Sonae/Portugal Telecom, Proctor & Gamble/Gillette, HP/Compaq and T Mobile/tele.ring. He has also advised on a range of general competition cases, including in relation to alleged margin squeezes, anti-competitive price discrimination, refusal to supply, cartels and state aid investigations. Paul has particular expertise in relation to telecommunications and broadcasting. Prior to establishing CEG, Paul was a partner at Case Associates and prior to that advised on general competition and telecoms regulatory matters at CRA International. Paul was also previously the head of a team of economists at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and a senior economist at the Australian Federal Treasury.
