Paul Martin is a senior partner in the Toronto office of Fasken Martineau and practises in the area of litigation and dispute resolution. He is one of Canada’s leading class action defence counsel and is co-chair of the firm’s class actions practice group. Paul’s practice includes compe-tition litigation, with an emphasis on cartels and other criminal matters. In the cartel area, his representative matters have included well-known proceedings concerning vitamins, rubber chemicals, hydrogen peroxide, filters, air cargo, air passengers, packaged ice, high fruc-tose corn syrup and carbon collectors. He is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education programmes, particularly in areas relating to competition law, class proceedings and cross-border litigation.
