Nikos Dimopoulos

Nikos joined Macfarlanes as a solicitor in 2012. He specialises in all aspects of EU and UK competition law, including: antitrust and market investigations undertaken by the UK authorities and the European Commission; mergers, joint ventures and strategic alliances, including handling merger filings to the UK, EU and other foreign competition authorities; competition law compliance, including advising with regard to various types of commercial agreements (such as distribution, market data supply, technology transfer, outsourcing and R&D agreements); designing and implementing bespoke compliance training programmes; and antitrust litigation and arbitration.Nikos advises UK and international corporate clients from a variety of industry sectors, with particular experience in the manufacturing, steel, chemicals, retail, IT and sports sectors.
